Step Up and Help Keep a Community Tradition Alive!

Arkansaw Community members, friends, and family, we need your help!

The Arkansaw Fur Fish and Game is more than just a club—it’s a tradition, a gathering place, and a way to connect with nature and each other. But without new volunteers and active members, we risk losing it all.

​

We’re looking to fill two vital leadership roles:

• Vice President – Take meeting minutes, read minutes at monthly meetings, fill in when the president is absent, move into the president role in year two.  One meeting per month plus events as available.

• Treasurer – Bill pay, reconcile accounts, pick up mail, provide monthly accounting of finances, provide account information at monthly meetings. One meeting per month plus events.

• ​

Without these roles filled and without additional volunteers, our ability to maintain the Community Center, Arkansaw Creek Park, and the Dead Lake boat landing will stop.  The ability to host cherished events like the Raffle, Arkansaw Creek Park Day, youth deer hunting contest, youth turkey hunting contest and many others, will no longer happen.  We will need to dissolve the club.

If you or someone you know would like to join a fun, easygoing group while also doing great work for your community we would love to have you join.  Our current and past officers and members, most of whom have been members for 15+ years, are ready to help guide the next generation.

If you care about the outdoors, your neighbors, and preserving our local traditions, now is the time to step forward. Together, we can ensure the Arkansaw Fur Fish and Game thrives for years to come.
